Scion Dental Chairman Craig Kasten greeted WellPoint CEO Angela Braly at recent luncheon with local business leaders on the campus of Marquette University. Healthcare technology was among the topics of their conversation. WellPoint is the largest insurer in America and a Fortune 50 company. Braly was ranked eighth in Forbes magazine’s “World’s Most Powerful Women in 2009” list and fourth on Fortune magazine’s “50 Most Powerful Women” list.

Scion Dental’s sister company, Wonderbox Technologies, kept busy this weekend. On Sunday, the 3-person relay team captured the gold medal, finishing first among all corporate relay teams in the Milwaukee Lakefront Mararthon race with a 3 hour 22 minute and 35 second finish time, and 10th overall among all relay teams.
